Conditions and symptoms linked to hormone health

These are signs worth investigating with a licensed clinician — not a checklist you can diagnose yourself from, and not services we provide. A ✓ marks who a condition typically affects; the note explains the connection. Many of these have common non-hormonal causes too.

Common questions

I have several of these — does that mean I need TRT?

No. These symptoms overlap heavily with sleep, thyroid, iron, stress, and mood issues. They’re a reason to get proper testing, not a diagnosis — and testosterone therapy is only appropriate for specific, lab-confirmed pictures.

Why do some conditions show ✓ for both men and women?

Sex hormones affect shared systems — bone, muscle, mood, hair, libido — so many conditions are relevant across sexes even though the hormones and treatments differ. The table flags relevance, not identical management.

Do you treat any of these?

No — we’re an independent education publisher, not a clinic. We explain what symptoms can mean and how to find and vet real providers; diagnosis and treatment belong with a licensed clinician.
